C. W. Telfair Buys Keesler Residence
Mr. C. W. Telfair has purchased the residence of Gen. S. R. Keesler on Church and Walthall streets, the consideration being $10,000.
Gen. Keesler informs us the little "for sale" adv. In The Daily Commonwealth sold the residence for him; that yesterday was the first time Mr. Telfair had read the adv., and he came directly to him and within a few minutes the deal was closed-Gen. Keesler declaring that "the pulling power of your Daily as an advertising medium is simply wonderful."
Mr. Telfair and family will move into the newly acquired modern home about the first of next September, at which time Gen. Keesler and family will move to the R. T. Jones residence which they recently purchased.
