Temple Beth Israel (Reformed)
The congregation of the Jewish Orthodox Church in this city is to be congratulated upon their growth and prosperity. Three years ago they started with a small congregation, and now have purchased a lot west of the courthouse, formerly the property of Mr. B. L. Young, where they expect at an early date to erect a synagogue. The officers and the ladies especially, deserve much praise for their untiring efforts and should have proper encouragement in their efforts to erect a church on the pretty site they recently purchased.

The lot upon which the Synagogue is to be built is 60 by 150 feet, the building will take up practically all of the space.
